So this will be my last blog post! It is crazy how fast a semester can fly by! Just 12 weeks ago I was just starting to look into what it means to have a digital footprint, having digital responsibilities and being digitally literate. As per my course instructions, I was told to Google myself again to look at my digital footprint. Well... I got essentially the same results as before. Some girl with the same name as me that was on the X Factor a few years back.. Haha!
While nothing new showed up, I can see through my newly updated PLE how my digital footprit has changed and grown!
Here is my old one:
And (drumroll please) my new PLE:
It was very interesting for me to reflect and add new things to my PLE from all of the new tools that I have used over the course of this week. That is what is so great about PLEs they are constantly changing, and you can add anything that works for you! I added some of the new tools I have discovered in this course, but not all, as some of them just don't work for me!
I have learned so many things over the course of these 12 weeks, but I think the most important is in regards to digital citizenship! Digital citezenship covers a variety of things including creating a positive digital footprint, and upholding digital responsibilities. I have said it before, and I will say it again, positive online experiences for all start with respect. Respect for the work of others, respect for your self, and respect for others is vital for creating a positive, and productive environment!
I hope that you have all taken away something new as you have journeyed with me, and that you will continue to learn about this digital world we live in!
Thanks again for learning with me.. digitally!
